SHOP CLUB will meet until 330 today.

 

MUSICAL “INTO THE WOODS” The cast, crew and pit have been working very hard on their presentation of the musical “Into the Woods”. It will be presented tonight-Saturday, March 28-30 at 7:00 p.m. each evening. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for students.

 

Spanish Club, if you want to go on the field trip to Cherokee street, check the Spanish Club Google Classroom to reserve a spot.

 

RSVPs for the Pride of the Tribe ceremony are due Monday!  Please return them to Mrs. Block in room 206 or Mrs. Ranz in the office.

 

SENIOR CLASS TRIP: Senior Holiday World field trip deposit and permission slips are due TODAY. No exceptions! See Mrs. Brede or Mrs. Klein with questions.

 

Coping 4 Life is hosting their annual Prom Dress Give Away event this Saturday, March 30th, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Central High School library.  Donations for dresses are accepted but not required.

 

AFTER PROM PARTY: Tickets are on sale in the office. Purchase by April 2nd if you want a t-shirt. Absolute final date to purchase after prom tickets is April 10 (no t-shirt). The After Prom party will run until 3:00 a.m. Enjoy escape rooms, an obstacle course  slide, PRIZES, 9-square, games and free food & drinks all for just $10 per ticket. Not planning to attend prom? Not a problem? Come to After Prom anyway. See you there! After Prom WHS consent forms and guest consent forms are available and must be completed in order to purchase an after prom ticket.

 

SHOE DRIVE: Don’t forget to bring in your gently used shoes for the Shoe Drive!

 

GUIDANCE NEWS . . .

Seniors just a reminder that the Trenton Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is due March 31st, and the New Baden Chamber of Commerce Scholarship is due April 1st.

 

The Cement Masons Local No. 90 and Southern Illinois Builders Association Joint Apprenticeship Committee will be accepting applications from 8-noon April 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, and 11 at the Local No. 90 office at 820 Lions Drive, Troy, IL.  Applicants must be 18 years of age and have a GED or high school diploma.  For more information call 618-667-2562.

 

The Carlyle Rotary Club is giving out two $500 scholarships and the Rotary District 6510 is giving out two $2,500 awards.  Wesclin seniors may apply for both, but students must send in applications to both the district address and the local club.  See Mrs. Fisher for an application ASAP!  The deadline is April 1st.
